AIMXA OTT/DVB - AOL(Android Over Linux)

 

1. Our Test Env Environment is like belo

- HW : AIMAX OTT ATV 8, CC2531 dongle,

CC2531 dongle

- SW : Android 8 + AOL(Android Over Linux)

- Tested Device :

SmartThings - IM6001-MPP01 Door open/closed 

SmartThings - IM6001-BTP01 : Button

 

 

SmartThings - IM6001-OTP05 : Power Switch

 

Xiaomi - RTCGQ11LM : Motion Detector

 

SONOFF - BASICZBR3 Relay Switch

 

 

 

1. Install AOL 

 

 

AIMAX  CC2531 + Zigbee2Mqtt + HomeAssistant 

 

We used  CC2531 Zigbee Dongle on AIMAX .

 

To use CC2531 Zigbee Dongle, You need to connect with Box like below photo. 

 

On Chrome or other browser, you can access Zigbee2MQTT setting menu via "http://192.168.0.x:8124/" in web browser.

 

 

To use Zigbee devices, you need to pair device with Zigbee2MQTT, To pair Zigbee devices , Select Permit Join(All) button on right Top side.and then you need to find button for pairing and press button to pair in your IOT devices.

To pair IOT device, you need to select "Permit Join(All)" buttons

I tried to pair many Zigbee IOT devices on AIMAX boxx.

When it is added, you can see also same devices in Home Assisstant menu via http://192.168.0.x:8123/.

 

 

 

Most easy devices is ON/OFF switcher

 

.

To use CC2531 dongle in HomeAssistant, you need to add MQTT in All Integrated components.

 

You need to add MQTT to use CC2531 messages.

 

I added Tuya  to add my devices that I am using in Tuya APP.

 

After setting above procedure, I can see many devices and can handle it. in Home Assistant Menu.

 

 

 

When Motion detector find any human's movment, it will alram to HomeAssisant. so we can program what we want after getting this Alram.

 

When Door senser find movement of door, it will alram to HomeAssisant. so we can program what we want after getting this Alram.

 

When it has opening or closing status, Above Icon will change like below in Home Assistant.

When action button has clicked , it will show " single , double" status.

 

What I tested on 2 input Switch for Tuya, it works well in HomeAssistant.

 

We tested also SONOFF Switcher with YEELIGHT LED light. we can handle it well.

And if you set up your Router with Port forwarding, you can control all your IOT devices out of your home.
